Damien King Lee
February 26th 1.30pm – live stream Damien’s funeral service here.
This website is to celebrate Damien and everything he was and did. Which was a lot!
His passions ran deep and wide in both his professional and personal life. One of his biggest passions was business. He used to say he had lost count of the number of businesses he had started. Whilst some succeeded and went on to be sold, others failed, but you could never accuse him of not chasing his dreams!
A father and a serial entrepreneur, passionate about charity work. An eternal optimistic, always positive with buckets full of charisma and energy. Not to mention his love and devotion to his family, his motorbikes and lust for life.
Damien passed away in early 2021 after battling fiercely and so courageously through the challenges of cancer for over 6 years. You can find some memories of Damien here.
But his energy, enthusiasm, creativity, twinkling rebelliousness and his deeply caring nature are an entrenched inspiration to all that met him.
If you would like to make a donation to MacMillan Cancer Support in Damien’s memory, you can do so on this Just Giving page which has been created to raise vital funds for people who are affected by cancer.
About
Damien Lee, an Australian born entrepreneur who has always had an interest in running his own businesses, was founder/co-founder of 3 start-ups; Mr Lee’s Noodles, SoluBlue and Moses Motorcycles.
“All the businesses I ever built have generally been in industries I had no prior experience with, this allowed me to lead with a fresh new perspective, carving new routes to market through industries that may not have changed for many years.”
“My addiction to business came to a halt in 2014 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 chest and stomach cancer and I was given only weeks to live at the time. But it didn’t stop me, I continued to work relentlessly, care for my two boys and try to leave a legacy…”
